improving the lives of patients by creating enabling technologies that standardize
outpatient spine surgery with minimally invasive, endoscopic surgical solutions.

Incubated by IntuitiveX

Spinal surgery is one of the most common procedures in the US with 935,000 annual fusion cases & is expected to grow to 1.2M cases by 2020. Fusion is still considered the Gold Standard for treating spinal instabilities and degenerative conditions. However, the lack of enabling technologies has kept the procedure more invasive than other commonly performed surgeries, leading to higher blood loss, pain, complications and a longer recovery period.

The Innovasive System offers the only complete procedural solution for outpatient spinal fusion, addressing all critical steps in the surgery with endoscopic and other minimally invasive technologies. First technology that will be commercialized is the industry's first multi‐expanding spinal implant that allows for a true minimal access with maximal clinical impact.

Spinal surgery is one of the most common procedures in the US. and is projected to be well over 1M procedures per year by year 2020.
The market trend for MIS technologies is very favorable because what was a small niche field only few years ago, is now a thriving segment in spine and is growing at a faster rate than the overall market.  We are looking at a very favorable 2.1B market for MIS only by year 2020.
